Between the vibrant city of Nantes and the medieval market town of Chateaubriant, our 250 year old, air-conditioned cottage, in the peaceful hamlet of Le Petit Vioreau, has been professionally renovated to offer quality accommodation.

100 yards from a large, tranquil fishing lake and literally a two minute drive from one of the finest inland swimming beaches in the area, it offers comfort, calm and relaxation for your holiday.

We've tried to make our holiday cottage the sort of place we'd like to stay in ourselves and so ensure that it's immaculately clean, well equipped and child friendly.

The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, a large sitting room/ dining area, conservatory, shower room and spacious kitchen.

With UK sat TV and an extensive DVD library, we've also provided books, videos and games.

The garden is fully enclosed and lockable and has garden furniture, BBQ etc.

Close to recommended bars and restaurants, our cottage offers a haven for gastronomes, nature lovers and star gazers.

Price

Open all year. Air-conditioning for summer, heating, log stove and double glazing for winter bookings.

Booking

Change over-day is Saturday, arrivals from 4.30 pm, (although if you're travelling with children, we'll do our utmost to make this earlier), and departures by 10 am.

Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by e-mail or by post within 2 weeks of receiving your deposit. The balance in full must be received 6 weeks prior to your holiday date although we are happy to accept late bookings, and week-end breaks can also be arranged.

A €200 cash "good housekeeping" deposit (payable on arrival) will be required from guests against damage and cleaning. Provided the house is left in a clean and satisfactory condition this will be refunded (less electrical costs and breakages) within 1 week of departure.

Good quality bed linen is supplied.

Directions

Between Nantes and Chateaubriant, our cottage can be reached with cheap flights to Nantes, Rennes, Angers and Dinard, and there are ferries to St Malo, Caen, Le Havre, Cherbourg
