Nearest town: Chantonnay
![]()
"La Nature" is situated on a former farm in a tranquil rural hamlet, amongst delightful wooded countryside. The house is carefully restored, retaining all its authentic charm and traditional features, and the owners have used mostly natural materials and methods, respecting the environment. There is a stream at just 100 metres, offering pleasant strolls and fishing (permits can be arranged) as well as further rambling and cycling trails through the attractive countryside. The house benefits from a fenced heated pool (occasional use by the owners by agreement) and an attractive courtyard garden which is fenced for peace of mind with small children.
The nearby village of St Hilaire le Vouhis (just over a mile) provides a bakery, shop and bar, whilst the pretty town of Chantonnay (5 miles) has a good range of shops and restaurants and a supermarket. The coast is within easy reach (La Faute sur Mer 31 miles) and there is a lake with restaurant and children's play area at just 7 miles.
The owners live on site.
