Le Petit Bois is a charming stone cottage that has been renovated with care to offer comfortable stylish accommodation. It is situated in a rural hamlet within cycling distance of the village of Vouille-les-Marais where you will find a bakery, a grocery shop and a bar/restaurant. From the property you can stroll through woods to the banks of the canal and along to the small lake, offering picnic spots and fishing and the quiet lanes are ideal for walking and cycling (cyle hire at Marans, 6 miles). The garden of the property is fully enclosed and the pool is fenced, making the property fine for young children. The Vendee coast is easily accessible (22 miles to La Faute sur Mer) as is the delightful town of La Rochelle (23 miles), with it's old port, superb shopping, excellent restaurants and numerous holiday attractions.

Enclosed garden with small lawn, wooden decking, garden dining furniture. Fenced pool area. Parking. Table tennis. Boules. The heated swimming pool is 8m x 4m, depth 1.06m to 1.50m, with access steps and electric roller-blind safety cover (plus fence with gate). The pool is open and heated from 26/4 to 27/9. These dates may be extended if the weather allows but this is not guaranteed. Equipment includes: Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, cot, high chair, BBQ, satellite TV (English channels), DVD player, central heating. Sheets and towels included.
*Please note: Steep stone stairs that may not be easy for people with reduced mobility.
The stairs have a safety gate at the top and bottom.
