At Les Tamaris, the traditional barn, built in the 19th century in the local honey-coloured limestone, has been carefully renovated and converted to provide two quality holiday cottages with all the comforts of home. They feature exposed stone and beams, traditional tiled floors and modern kitchens and bathrooms.
N°1 has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6, N°2 has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8.
Each has its own fenced terrace area and they share the heated fenced pool.
Les Tamaris is set in the village of Corpe, within easy reach of safe, clean beaches and in an area rich in holiday activities & sites to visit. Corpe is a typical French village, with it's rural atmosphere and bar and bakery (both are just round the corner from Les Tamaris). The town of Luçon is only 5 minutes away, where you will find fine restaurants, good shops & supermarkets and an excellent market twice a week where you can buy fresh fish, seafood and local produce.
The heated pool is 11m x 5m and features a shallow paddling area on the top step, ideal for toddlers. The shallow end is 0.90m deep and the rest is 1.50m deep with a safety ledge at 0.90 around the edge. The pool is fully fenced for safety. There are underwater lights for late night swimming.
The owners live on site. English spoken.

Cottage N°1 at Les Tamaris is adjacent to the pool area and has its own attractive sunny terrace. The terrace is fenced for peace of mind with small children. It sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and has a bathroom, a shower room,and two toilets. The character interior features a full-height kitchen / dining room with French windows opening onto the terrace. It shares the 11m x 5m heated fenced pool with Cottage N°2.
Comprises: Open-plan living/dining with fitted kitchen. Double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with toilet. Separate toilet.
Well equipped, including TV (French channels), DVD player, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob, eye-level electric oven, kettle, toaster, mixer, iron, ironing board, etc. Terrace with garden dining furniture and brick barbecue.
Quilts and square pillows with pillow cases supplied.
Cottage N°2 faces away from the pool area and has its own secluded courtyard terrace. This has a gate for peace of mind with small children. The lounge/dining area has french windows opening directly onto the terrace. In the main part there are 3 delightful bedrooms, with a further bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet in the adjacent annex on the opposite side of the private courtyard. It sleeps a total of 8 in 4 bedrooms.

*Annex bedroom (access via courtyard) with 2 single beds and en-suite shower room with toilet.

Beaches: - 18 miles takes you to La Faute sur Mer, superb sandy beaches, stretching along 12 miles of coastline with dunes & pine forests, including La Tranche sur Mer (watersports, windsurfing, jet-skis, sailing), round to the port of Jard sur Mer (Clemenceau museum, market, surfing, cliffs and secluded coves, adventure theme park).
Nearest shops: - Bakery at 150m, supermarkets and good range of shops at Lucon (3 miles).
Nearest restaurants: - At Lucon, choice from simple through to gastronomic (3 miles), at Mareuil sur Lay (3 miles) excellent family restaurant.
