The patio has a walking right of passage for the one flat next door, this is obviously the same as many gite complexes, but with only one other flat. This has never proved to be a problem, but we would prefer that you know. The garden is for your sole useage, and there is a gate and fence between the two properties. |

Attractions Of course the beaches - swim, sunbath, build sand castles, go rockpooling, kid's club - no long hot car journeys, go when you want, for as long as you want. There are two bar/restaurants, enjoy a drink on the terrace whilst the children play on the beach, or come in the evening for a meal or drink with live music. Within walking distance - sailing and windsurfing lessons, pleasure port with more restaurants (seafood specialities), boat trips, the 'grottes' (cave dwellings) to visit, walks in the surrounding pine forests. At 5 minutes drive - wine tasting, horseriding, tree adventure part at St George de Didonne and more beaches. Royan with it's special architecture and shops. Further up the coast: surfing, golf, Zoo. Within easy driving distance: Chic La Rochelle, Cognac distillaries, Romanesque Saintes, Bordeaux vineyards |
